Bone Augmentation (bone grafting)

The bone was augmented using 50 % autogenous bone taken from the Ramus of the mandible and 50% allograft mixture. The bone was stabilized using poly(d l-lactic acid) absorbable barriers and type I collagen membrane. A palatal Pedicle graft was used to thicken the tissue in the area.

This case was completed using block graft. The unique feature of this procedure is the flap design using a remote incision (tunnel block graft).

Patient had a vertical fracture of tooth #10 with missing buccal plate of bone. Case was completed using a staged approach, rebuilding bone with GBR and tissue with tissue taken from tuberosity.
